I believe Stanley Hauerwas was the one who said, "stay with the church that hurt you."
I love the heart behind this video, but where does it end? I guess I'll have to read the book but, initially, it strikes me as a tragedy that Frank the trucker didn't end up staying inside the church as a "new Christian." I fear that this sort of ecclesiology buys into our culture way too much. It's consumeristic, isn't it? Shop around for a church that fits you and if none of them do... be a trucker. "Why not rather be wronged?" (1 Corinthians 6:7) and stay in the church that hurt you and be a "new Christian" there.
